What this supervisor does on your board
The Maxim Integrated MAX16012TT+T is a single-channel voltage supervisor that monitors one supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below a threshold you set. The reset output is active-low and open-drain, so it can be wire-ORed with other reset sources or pulled up to a different voltage than the monitored rail. This is the standard interface for most MCUs and SoCs that expect a low-true reset input. The 6-TDFN (3x3 mm) package is a compact footprint for space-constrained designs.
Reset timeout — what the <1 ms minimum means
The reset timeout is less than 1 ms minimum.
No special handling or exemption paperwork needed for European or North American production lines.
