The Maxim Integrated MAX11192ATE+T is a 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter that samples two differential inputs simultaneously at 2 Msps per channel. The dual ADC cores share a common external voltage reference and communicate over an SPI data interface. This part is built for applications where the time relationship between two signals matters — think three-phase motor current sensing, power inverter feedback loops, or simultaneous voltage-and-current monitoring in a power supply.
At 2 Msps per channel, the ADC can digitise input signals with a 12-bit dynamic range. The two internal ADC converters sample their respective differential inputs at the same clock edge, so the phase offset between Channel 1 and Channel 2 is zero.
Supply range and reference — plan the analog rail
The analog supply accepts 3 V to 5.25 V. The reference is external, so the full-scale input range and the LSB step size are set by the reference voltage you supply.
Package and mounting — board layout notes
The part comes in a 16-lead TQFN with an exposed pad (2 mm × 3 mm body). Surface-mount only.
The part is ROHS3 compliant.
