Eight 12-bit DACs on a single I²C bus
The LTC2625CGN#PBF: Eight 12-bit voltage-output DACs in a 16-SSOP package, communicating over I²C. Each channel settles to within 1 LSB in 7µs typical, with a buffered voltage output.
INL is specified at ±1 LSB maximum, DNL at ±0.5 LSB maximum. That DNL guarantee means no missing codes at 12-bit resolution — every digital code produces a unique analog output. For a calibration DAC or a trim pot replacement, this is the spec that keeps the system monotonic.
I²C bus loading and address planning
Three address pins set the slave address, allowing up to eight unique addresses per bus segment.
Package and storage
Supplied in a 16-lead SSOP package (0.154-inch body width), surface-mount only. The shipping medium is Tube — not Tape & Reel, so if your pick-and-place line expects reels, you'll need to plan for tube-to-reel transfer or order a reeled variant. Store the tubes in a dry, anti-static environment;
The ROHS3 exemption status is clean — no restricted substances above the threshold, which avoids the compliance paperwork that some legacy DACs still carry.
