Boost and SEPIC in a single SC-70-6 package
This part supports step-up (boost) and SEPIC topologies from a 2.5 V to 16 V input range, delivering an adjustable output from 1.255 V up to 36 V via a single external resistor divider. The internal 300 mA switch and 1.3 MHz fixed switching frequency allow small external inductor and capacitor values, keeping the total solution footprint compact. No synchronous rectifier is used, which simplifies the control loop but means the Schottky diode must be selected for the output voltage and load current.
