Dual current-feedback amplifier in an 8-SOIC footprint
It delivers 270 MHz -3dB bandwidth and 250 V/µs slew rate while drawing 6 mA supply current per amplifier — a combination that suits high-speed signal conditioning, video distribution, and ADC driver stages where gain-bandwidth independence matters. The current-feedback topology means the 270 MHz bandwidth holds across a range of closed-loop gains, unlike a voltage-feedback amp that would trade bandwidth for gain. Each channel can source or sink 55 mA, enough to drive 50-ohm terminated lines or moderate capacitive loads directly.
The amplifier operates from a single supply of 4 V to 28 V or dual supplies of ±2 V to ±14 V, giving flexibility for both single-rail and split-rail designs. With 55 mA output current per channel, it can drive video loads (75-ohm back-terminated) or feed the input of a high-speed ADC without an additional buffer. The 6 mA supply per amplifier keeps the total quiescent draw at 12 mA for both channels, which matters in multi-channel systems where thermal dissipation in the 8-SOIC package is a constraint.
