RS232 transceiver in a 24-DIP — four full-duplex channels
The LT1134ACN#PBF is a full-duplex RS232 transceiver from Analog Devices, integrating four drivers and four receivers in a single 24-DIP package.
With four drivers and four receivers, this part replaces two dual-channel RS232 ICs, saving board space and reducing component count. The 250KBd data rate supports standard UART speeds up to 115.2 kbps with margin, but falls short of the 1 Mbps rates offered by newer transceivers — check your baud-rate budget before committing. Supply voltage is 4.5V to 5.5V, so it runs directly from a 5V rail without an external regulator.
It is RoHS3 compliant (the #PBF suffix indicates lead-free plating).
