Product details

Supply voltage and interface

The DS75LVS+: The I²C output keeps the bus wiring to two lines (SDA, SCL) plus the supply and ground — four traces to the host controller. Resolution is programmable up to 11 bits, which gives a temperature step of roughly 0.125°C per LSB. The default resolution at power-up is 9 bits (0.5°C/LSB), but the programmable limit lets you trade conversion time against granularity per the application's thermal slew rate.

Temperature range and accuracy margin

That covers the full industrial temperature envelope plus the military extension — cold-chain storage, engine-bay monitoring, or outdoor telecom cabinets all fit within the die's limits. Accuracy is ±2°C (max) from -25°C to 100°C, widening to ±3°C at the extremes (-55°C and 125°C). If your system alarm threshold is at 85°C, the 2°C worst-case error means you must set the limit at 83°C to guarantee it trips before the actual temperature hits 85°C — that 2°C guard band is the cost of the sensor's own uncertainty.

Active production and sourcing posture

Analog Devices lists the DS75LVS+ as Active with RoHS3 compliance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between DS75LVS+ and DS75LVS?

The DS75LVS+ ships in a Tube, while the DS75LVS ships in Bulk packaging. The die, the I²C interface, the 11-bit resolution, and the ±2°C accuracy are identical — the only difference is the delivery format for the pick-and-place feeder.
