Three-rail sequencer in an 8-pin SOIC
The Maxim Integrated DS1830AS+ is a three-channel voltage sequencer and supervisor in an 8-SOIC package. It monitors up to three supply rails against a 3.3V threshold and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset output when any monitored voltage falls below the threshold. The reset timeout is selectable among 10 ms, 20 ms, or 50 ms minimum durations, giving the designer flexibility to match downstream reset hold requirements. The open-drain output allows multiple reset sources to be wire-ORed on a shared reset line, a common topology in multi-rail systems where a single fault should pull the entire system into reset.
There is no last-time-buy window, no NRND flag, and no announced end-of-life.
What the 3.3V threshold and three-channel count mean for the BOM
The selectable timeout (10/20/50 ms) lets you tune the reset pulse width to the slowest rail's rise time without adding external capacitors.
