Digital temperature sensor with 1-Wire interface and programmable alarm
It resolves temperature to 11 bits and reports ±2°C accuracy over the full -55°C to 100°C operating range, with a worst-case ±3°C at the extremes. The on-chip programmable limit feature lets the sensor assert an alarm without continuous host polling — useful for threshold-based monitoring in cold-chain, HVAC, or industrial equipment where the host controller polls a bus of sensors only when an out-of-range event occurs.
The sensor ships in a standard TO-92-3 through-hole package (TO-226-3, TO-92-3). Three leads — ground, data, and VDD — fit a prototyping board or a soldered-in PCB hole pattern.
The 1-Wire protocol and TO-92-3 footprint are widely second-sourced across the industry, but this exact order code is the factory-released variant with the +PAR suffix indicating the programmable alarm feature.
