11-bit local sensing with 1-Wire bus
The DS1822Z+T&R: This is a digital local temperature sensor with 11-bit resolution, communicating over a 1-Wire bus that requires only one data line plus ground for the readout — a clean fit for distributed sensing where you want to minimise wiring back to the host controller.
Built-in features for standalone or host-controlled operation
The sensor includes an output switch, programmable temperature limit, and standby mode — the programmable limit can trigger the output switch when the temperature crosses a threshold, reducing host polling overhead in a thermostat or thermal protection circuit. Standby mode drops the supply current when the sensor is not taking a measurement, useful for battery-powered or energy-harvesting nodes that wake periodically to log temperature.
