What this reset supervisor does for your rail
The DS1233AZ-15+ is a single-channel simple reset/power-on reset IC from the Analog Devices EconoReset family. It monitors a single voltage rail and holds the reset output active-low (open-drain) for a minimum of 250 ms after the supply rises above the 2.72 V threshold. This is the part that keeps your MCU, FPGA, or SoC in reset until the supply is stable — no brownout glitches on power-up.
Housed in a SOT-223-3 surface-mount package (TO-261-4 equivalent), this is a three-pin device that takes up minimal board space. No derating needed for indoor or enclosure-mounted gear.
