Active supervisor in a three-pin SOT-223
The DS1233AZ-10+ is a single-channel Simple Reset/Power-On Reset supervisor from the EconoReset series, monitoring one voltage rail with a 2.88V threshold and asserting an active-low, open-drain reset output for a minimum of 250 ms on power-up or brownout.
2.88V threshold and 250 ms timeout
The 2.88V threshold monitors a 3.3V or 3.0V rail, asserting reset when the supply dips below that level — typical for protecting microcontrollers or logic from running during undervoltage. The 250 ms minimum reset timeout holds the processor in reset long enough for the supply to stabilise, covering the startup transient of most switching regulators without needing an external delay capacitor.
