Timing parametrics that govern the fit
The DS1040Z-A32 is a 1-shot programmable pulse generator with five taps, delivering a total available delay of 32.5 ns and a tap increment of 2.5 ns. The delay to the first tap is 22.5 ns, so the output pulse edge is shifted by that amount relative to the input trigger — budget this into your timing closure when the part gates a downstream clock or data strobe. The commercial temperature range (0°C to 70°C) limits deployment to indoor, temperature-controlled environments — not suitable for extended industrial or automotive ambient without active cooling.
