Quad SPST switch with independent NO/NC per channel
The Maxim Integrated DG413FDY+ is a quad SPST analog switch with independent normally-open and normally-closed control per channel. Each of the four 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuits routes analog or digital signals with a maximum on-resistance of 35 ohms. The -105 dB crosstalk at 1 MHz makes it a clean choice for audio crosspoint switching or precision instrumentation where channel isolation matters. Supply flexibility covers single-supply operation from 9 V to 36 V or dual supplies from ±4.5 V to ±20 V, suiting it for industrial control, data-acquisition front-ends, and ATE signal routing.
Switching speed and charge injection — what they mean for the signal path
Maximum turn-on time of 175 ns and turn-off of 145 ns keep the switch responsive for multiplexed ADC inputs or fast relay-replacement tasks. Charge injection of 5 pC is low enough that a sample-and-hold front-end sees minimal glitch — relevant when switching into a high-impedance load. Channel-to-channel on-resistance matching of 200 milliohms means the four paths track closely, reducing gain error in multi-channel systems.
Industrial temperature grade and package
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient, the DG413FDY+ fits outdoor telecom cabinets, motor-drive control boards, and factory-floor I/O modules. The 16-SOIC (0.154", 3.90 mm width) body is a standard surface-mount footprint; the supplier device package is 16-SOIC. Off-state leakage is a maximum 250 pA, and channel capacitance (CS(off) 15 pF, CD(off) 47 pF) is low enough to not load high-frequency paths noticeably.
Lifecycle and sourcing posture
The DG413FDY+ carries an active lifecycle status with ROHS3 compliance. No end-of-life notice or last-time-buy window is in effect, so it can be specified into new designs without near-term obsolescence risk.
