The ADI ADUM7240ARZ is a two-channel digital isolator from the iCoupler family, using magnetic coupling to provide galvanic isolation up to 1000 Vrms.
1 Mbps data rate and 75 ns propagation delay
The 1 Mbps data rate is the headline timing spec for this isolator — it handles SPI clock lines up to 1 MHz, UART signals at standard baud rates, and general-purpose digital I/O isolation. Propagation delay is 75 ns max in both directions, with 25 ns max pulse-width distortion. The 2 ns typical rise/fall time keeps signal edges clean enough for most control and sensor interfaces, though the 15 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity means it will hold the data path through motor-drive or relay-switching events without glitching.
