SPI isolator with the channel map you actually need
The ADUM3152BRSZ-RL7 is a 7-channel SPI digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler and SPIsolator families, built around magnetic coupling. Its 4/3 input-side/side-2 split maps directly to a full SPI bus: SCK, MOSI, MISO, and up to three chip-select lines on the primary side, with three secondary-side signals for interrupt or handshake lines. This isn't a generic four-channel isolator you have to jury-rig — the channel count and direction are purpose-built for SPI, so you don't waste channels or add external logic. The 34 Mbps data rate gives you headroom for SPI clocks up to 17 MHz in double-edge sampling mode, or 34 MHz single-edge — well past what most MCU SPI peripherals can generate. Propagation delay is 14 ns max in either direction, with 2 ns pulse-width distortion, so the timing budget stays tight even across the isolation barrier. Isolation is rated at 3750 Vrms, which satisfies reinforced insulation requirements for mains-connected industrial equipment per IEC 60950-1 and IEC 62368-1. The 25 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) is the spec that matters in motor-drive or inverter applications — it prevents data corruption when the power stage switches at high dV/dt.
Temperature range and operating environment
No isolated power on-chip — you'll need a separate isolated DC-DC converter for the secondary-side supply.
Lifecycle — active, no end-of-life watch needed
No last-time-buy notices, no end-of-life risk for the foreseeable future. ROHS3 compliant, so it passes European and California regulatory requirements without an exemption certificate. For a new-design BOM, this part is a safe socket — you won't be scrambling for a replacement mid-production.
