Single-channel iCoupler with 100 Mbps throughput
The ADUM3100BRZ-RL7: Typical applications include breaking ground loops in industrial fieldbus interfaces, isolating SPI or UART links in motor drives and PLCs, and providing galvanic isolation in power-supply feedback paths.
Data rate is 100Mbps. Propagation delay max is 18ns, pulse-width distortion max is 2ns, and rise/fall times typ are 3ns each.
25 kV/µs CMTI — survives the switching node
Common-mode transient immunity minimum is 25kV/µs.
Supply range and logic compatibility
The 3V to 5.5V supply range on each side is independent, so you can run the controller side at 3.3V and the isolated side at 5V (or any combination in between). That makes it a direct fit for 5V logic interfaces without level-shifting — the input thresholds are TTL/CMOS-compatible across the full supply range. No isolated power converter on-chip (the Isolated Power spec is No), so you need a separate isolated DC-DC or a rail from the bus side to power the secondary.
Package and footprint
No exposed pad — the 8-SOIC narrow body dissipates through the leads, so keep ambient airflow in mind if running near the 105°C limit at full data rate.
