Six-channel magnetic isolator with 5000 Vrms reinforced isolation
It is a general-purpose part designed for applications that require galvanic isolation between two power domains — think industrial fieldbus interfaces, motor-drive control signals, isolated SPI or UART links, and medical equipment where patient-contact isolation is mandated.
The 150 Mbps data rate is fast enough to pass 50 MHz clock signals or a full-speed SPI bus without adding jitter or pulse-width distortion. The 4.5 ns max pulse-width distortion and 13 ns propagation delay (both directions) keep the timing budget predictable across temperature. The 75 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity is the spec that matters when this isolator sits on a motor-drive or inverter board — fast voltage swings on the high-voltage side (from IGBT switching) can couple across the barrier and corrupt data if the CMTI is too low. At 75 kV/µs minimum, this part handles the harsh transients of a 600 V or 1200 V inverter bus without bit errors.
Supply range and channel configuration
The six channels are split 3/3 (three inputs on side 1, three on side 2), giving you three forward and three reverse paths. That is enough for a full SPI bus (SCLK, MOSI, MISO, plus one chip-select) with one spare, or three isolated control signals in each direction.
Industrial temperature range and ROHS3 compliance
The ROHS3 compliance covers the full RoHS exemption set, including lead-free soldering reflow profiles. The 16-SOIC package is a surface-mount wide-body that matches standard 7.50 mm SOIC footprints.
