5000 Vrms isolation in a 16-SOIC — what it buys you
The ADUM2211SRWZ-RL is a 2-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler series, built on magnetic coupling technology. The 1 Mbps data rate covers isolated SPI, UART, and general-purpose logic-level signals without the timing overhead of optocouplers.
25 kV/µs CMTI — stays clean through fast transients
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 25 kV/µs minimum. That matters when the isolator sits between a noisy power stage (inverter, motor drive, SMPS) and a sensitive controller: fast voltage swings on the isolated side won't couple through and corrupt the data. The 150 ns max propagation delay (both directions) and 40 ns max pulse-width distortion keep the timing budget predictable for synchronous interfaces.
Wide supply and temperature range
Rise and fall times are symmetrical at 10 ns typical, which keeps signal integrity clean at 1 Mbps.
