Five-channel iCoupler with 4/1 direction split
The ADUM151N1BRZ is a five-channel digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler series, using magnetic coupling to transfer digital signals across a 3000Vrms isolation barrier.
75kV/µs CMTI — built for noisy environments
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 75kV/µs minimum. That number matters when the isolator sits between a controller and a motor-drive power stage, or across an inverter phase leg, where fast-switching SiC or IGBT edges slam the barrier with high dv/dt. The 75kV/µs rating means the output won't glitch or lose data when those transients hit — a key spec for industrial drives, solar inverters, and EV traction systems.
The ADUM151N1BRZ runs on a 1.7V to 5.5V supply on either side, so it interfaces directly with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5V logic domains without external level shifters. The 16-SOIC narrow-body package (3.90mm width) fits a standard footprint, but the 125°C junction limit means derating checks are needed if ambient plus self-heating pushes past that ceiling.
Active lifecycle, no end-of-life concern
That means you can design it into a new BOM today without planning for a last-time-buy window.
