150 Mbps digital isolator in a 16-pin SSOP
The ADUM141E0BRQZ is a 4-channel, general-purpose digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family, using magnetic coupling to provide 3000 Vrms of galvanic isolation across the barrier. It handles unidirectional data at up to 150 Mbps per channel, with a 3/1 input-side/side-2 split—three channels drive from side 1, one from side 2. Propagation delay is a tight 13 ns max, and pulse-width distortion stays under 3 ns, keeping signal integrity clean for high-speed interfaces like SPI or UART lines that cross an isolation boundary.
Each side of the isolator can be powered independently from 1.7 V up to 5.5 V. That means you can run the microcontroller side at 1.8 V or 3.3 V while the isolated side still talks to a legacy 5 V peripheral, with no level-shifting. The 75 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) is the spec that matters in motor-drive or inverter environments where fast-switching power stages try to blast noise across the barrier—this part shrugs it off.
Rated over the full industrial temperature range and beyond, this isolator works in outdoor telecom cabinets, factory-floor PLCs, and automotive engine-bay modules that see sustained heat.
Active lifecycle, ROHS3 compliant
No last-time-buy pressure or obsolescence risk on the horizon—this is a part you can design in today and source for the next several years.
