150 Mbps, 3000 Vrms — what this isolator delivers
The ADUM140E1BRZ is a 4-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler series, using magnetic coupling to pass signals across a 3000 Vrms isolation barrier.
75 kV/µs CMTI — why it matters for noisy environments
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at a minimum of 75 kV/µs. That figure tells you the isolator can reject fast voltage transients between its two ground domains — exactly what you get when a motor drive or a half-bridge power stage switches. If the CMTI is too low, the output glitches or latches, corrupting the data stream. At 75 kV/µs this part stays clean alongside GaN or SiC switching stages running at high dv/dt.
The 4/0 input-side/side-2 configuration means all four channels are oriented the same direction — all inputs on side 1, all outputs on side 2.
Active lifecycle and RoHS compliance
No isolated power converter is integrated; you supply Vdd1 and Vdd2 separately on each side of the barrier.
