The ADUM131E1BRZ is a three-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family, built on magnetic coupling technology. It delivers 150 Mbps data rate per channel with 3000 Vrms isolation, making it a fit for breaking ground loops and noise in industrial fieldbus, motor-drive feedback, and isolated SPI/UART links.
75 kV/µs CMTI — motor-drive and inverter noise immunity
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 75 kV/µs minimum, which means this isolator holds its data integrity through the fast-switching edges of a motor-drive IGBT or SiC MOSFET bridge. In a variable-frequency drive or solar inverter, that CMTI margin prevents bit errors on the encoder or control interface when the power stage commutes.
Propagation delay and timing budget
Maximum propagation delay is 13 ns in either direction, with pulse-width distortion held to 3 ns. Rise and fall times are 2.5 ns typical.
