Product details

Three-channel isolation with 150 Mbps edge rate

The ADUM131D0BRZ is a 3-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from Analog Devices' iCoupler family, using magnetic coupling to transfer data across a 3000 Vrms isolation barrier. Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 75 kV/µs minimum, which keeps the output from glitching when a motor drive or inverter switches a high-voltage bus nearby.

Supply and logic-level flexibility

The unidirectional channel configuration — two inputs on side 1, one on side 2 — suits typical data-flow patterns where the main data stream goes one way and a single status or enable signal returns. Rise and fall times are 2.5 ns typical, so the output edges are fast enough for 150 Mbps signalling but still controlled enough that a short PCB trace won't cause ringing if you add a small series resistor at the source.

Package and assembly notes

The narrow SOIC saves board area compared to the wider SOIC-W variants, but the 3000 Vrms isolation rating is the same. No isolated power converter is integrated — you supply the secondary-side rail externally.

Lifecycle and sourcing

ROHS3 compliant.

Frequently asked questions

Does ADUM131D0BRZ support 5V logic levels?

Yes.

What is the difference between ADUM131D0BRZ and ADUM1300?

The ADUM131D0BRZ is a 3-channel unidirectional isolator with a 2/1 input split (two on side 1, one on side 2), while the ADUM1300 is a different channel-direction variant. For a direct comparison, check the channel direction and supply voltage requirements against your application.
