Three-channel unidirectional isolator at 150 Mbps
The ADUM130E1BRZ is a three-channel, unidirectional digital isolator from the iCoupler series, built around magnetic coupling technology. It pushes 150 Mbps across the isolation barrier with a propagation delay of 13 ns max and pulse-width distortion under 3 ns. The 3000 Vrms isolation rating suits it for breaking ground loops in industrial fieldbus, motor-drive feedback, and isolated SPI/UART links.
75 kV/µs CMTI — built for noisy environments
Common-mode transient immunity is rated at 75 kV/µs minimum. That number matters when the isolator sits between a microcontroller and a gate-driver in a motor inverter or a switched-mode power supply — fast voltage edges on the secondary side can otherwise couple through parasitic capacitance and corrupt the data stream. The iCoupler magnetic architecture handles that without the external common-mode choke a lot of optocoupler designs need.
ADI lists the ADUM130E1BRZ as an active product. No last-time-buy notice, no end-of-life window to track. ROHS3 compliant per the listing, so it passes the usual European and Asian environmental requirements without an exemption.
Package and temperature grade
Housed in a 16-pin SOIC with 3.90 mm body width — the narrow SOIC-16 footprint that fits many existing isolation layouts. Surface-mount only; no through-hole variant in this order code.
