Its 63 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 17 V/µs slew rate let it handle fast sensor signals — think strain-gauge bridges, piezoelectric transducers, or high-speed data-acquisition front-ends — without sacrificing closed-loop accuracy at moderate gains. The 20 µV input offset voltage and 12 nA input bias current keep the DC error low enough that many designs can skip a software-calibration step.
Runs from a single or split supply spanning 8 V to 36 V, drawing 3 mA quiescent current. The 8-CERDIP package is a sealed ceramic body; it handles higher humidity environments better than plastic DIP, but MSL handling still applies per standard practice.
