Switch performance and signal path
This is a single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO) switch with a 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit — essentially a single series pass transistor. The 3 Ohm max on-state resistance (3 Ohm) means minimal voltage drop in the signal path; for a 1 V signal at 10 mA, the drop is under 30 mV. That matters for precision analog routing where every millivolt counts. The -3 dB bandwidth is 200 MHz, so this switch passes high-speed analog or digital signals up to that frequency without significant roll-off. Charge injection is 5 pC typical — when the switch opens, that injected charge can glitch a sample-and-hold capacitor; 5 pC is low enough for 12-bit settling in most audio or sensor front-ends. Switching times are 12 ns (on) and 8 ns (off) typical — fast enough for multiplexing at several megahertz. Channel capacitance is 17 pF on both source and drain sides, which combines with the load impedance to set the high-frequency corner; with a 50 Ohm load, the -3 dB point from capacitance alone is about 187 MHz, consistent with the 200 MHz bandwidth spec.
Supply and temperature range
The temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (TA) — industrial grade, so it works in factory-floor gear, outdoor telecom cabinets, or automotive cabin environments (not under-hood). Leakage current when off (IS(off)) is max 250 pA — negligible for most circuits, but in a high-impedance node (like a photodiode amplifier), that leakage adds to the dark current and may need compensation.
