8:1 MUX with 30 Ohm Ron and 75ns switching
The ADG608BRZ is an 8:1 single-ended CMOS multiplexer/demultiplexer from Analog Devices, housed in a 16-SOIC surface-mount package. It switches one of eight inputs to a common output with a maximum on-resistance of 30 Ohm and channel-to-channel matching within 5 Ohm. Switching is fast — 75 ns turn-on, 45 ns turn-off maximum — and crosstalk is held to -85 dB at 100 kHz, making it suitable for precision analog signal routing in test equipment, data acquisition, and industrial control boards.
Supply rails and signal integrity
Charge injection is 6 pC typical, and off-channel leakage is 500 pA maximum — both low enough to avoid offset errors in high-impedance sensor paths. Channel capacitance is 9 pF (source off) and 40 pF (drain off), which together with the 30 Ohm Ron sets the bandwidth ceiling for the multiplexed signal. The -85 dB crosstalk figure at 100 kHz means adjacent channel bleed is negligible for most audio and low-frequency instrumentation applications.
