Product details

10-bit SAR ADC with integrated temperature sensor

The AD7298-1BCPZ is a 10-bit successive-approximation (SAR) ADC from Analog Devices, sampling at 1 MSPS across eight single-ended inputs via an internal multiplexer and sample-and-hold. A built-in temperature sensor lets the ADC monitor its own die temperature or the ambient near the package — useful for thermal compensation or fault detection in a mixed-signal chain.

Supplied in a tray; the same die is also available on tape-and-reel as AD7298BCPZ-RL7 for automated pick-and-place lines.

Frequently asked questions

What is the closest functional alternative to AD7298-1BCPZ?

The AD7298BCPZ-RL7 is the same die in a tape-and-reel package; the only difference is the delivery format — the -1BCPZ comes in a tray, the -RL7 on reel. Both share the 10-bit resolution, 1 MSPS rate, eight single-ended inputs, and on-chip temperature sensor.
