The NXP MKL27Z128VMP4 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller from the Kinetis KL2 series, clocked at 48 MHz with 128 KB Flash and 32 KB RAM. It integrates a USB OTG controller with full-speed transceiver, 16-channel 16-bit ADC, a 12-bit DAC, and 50 GPIOs in a 64-MAPBGA (5x5 mm) package. The part is rated for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 105°C and operates from 1.71 V to 3.6 V supply, making it suited for battery-powered or thermally demanding edge nodes, portable instrumentation, and human-machine interface panels where USB host/device connectivity is needed without an external PHY.
The 48 MHz core handles control loops in the tens of kilohertz and sensor fusion with a 16-bit ADC. The DMA controller offloads peripheral transfers without stalling the core.
