48 MHz Cortex-M0+ with USB — BOM-fit for battery-powered control
The NXP MKL26Z128VFT4R is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ MCU from the Kinetis KL2 series, clocked at 48 MHz with 128 KB Flash and 16 KB RAM. It integrates a full-speed USB 2.0 OTG controller alongside I²C, SPI, UART, and LINbus — enough serial bandwidth for a sensor hub or a human-machine interface panel that talks to a PLC over Modbus and logs data to a USB stick. Operating from -40°C to 105°C, it is rated for industrial environments: outdoor telecom cabinets, motor-drive enclosures, and engine-bay-adjacent electronics where the ambient climbs.
The 16-bit ADC and 12-bit DAC are on-chip.
