150 MHz Cortex-M33 with industrial peripheral set
The NXP LPC5536JBD64K is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M33 single-core MCU clocked at 150 MHz, with 256 KB Flash and 128 KB RAM. It integrates a 13-channel 16-bit A/D converter, a single 12-bit D/A, and a Flexcomm serial engine that handles UART, I²C, SPI, and I³C on shared pins — plus a CANbus interface for industrial fieldbus connectivity. The part operates from 1.8 V to 3.6 V and is rated over a -40 °C to 105 °C industrial temperature range, making it suitable for motor-drive cabinets, outdoor telecom nodes, and engine-bay-adjacent control electronics.
Memory and throughput for real-time control
The 150 MHz Cortex-M33 core runs a single-loop motor FOC stack and a CANopen communication task. The 256 KB Flash and 128 KB RAM support ADC scan buffers and a CAN message queue.
Flexcomm and CANbus — one serial engine for multiple protocols
Each Flexcomm interface can be configured as UART, I²C, SPI, or I³C without changing pin assignments. The CANbus interface connects to a CAN transceiver for industrial fieldbus networks.
