The NXP LPC5534JBD100K is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M33 single-core MCU running at 150 MHz, with 128 KB of Flash and 96 KB of SRAM. The 128 KB Flash fits a moderate firmware image with a bootloader and one protocol stack. The 96 KB SRAM gives headroom for double-buffered ADC data or a small RTOS heap without external RAM.
Industrial temperature grade and connectivity
The 66 GPIOs in a 100-HLQFP package give enough pins for a parallel LCD interface or a bank of opto-isolated inputs alongside the serial buses. Connectivity includes CANbus, Flexcomm (configurable as I²C, SPI, UART/USART), I²S, I³C, and USB 2.0. The I³C interface is a newer addition for sensor aggregation at higher data rates than I²C, useful if you are connecting multiple environmental or IMU sensors on a shared bus.
