180 MHz Cortex-M4 with integrated Ethernet and CANbus
The NXP LPC54606J512BD100E is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU from the LPC546xx series, clocked at 180 MHz with 512 KB of Flash program memory, 200 KB of SRAM, and 16 KB of on-chip EEPROM. The 100-LQFP package exposes 64 general-purpose I/O lines.
Connectivity peripherals for industrial gateway designs
The on-chip Ethernet MAC and CANbus controller eliminate the need for external bridge chips in a fieldbus-to-plant-network gateway. The 64 I/O lines and internal DMA engine offload the CPU during high-throughput data transfers, freeing the 180 MHz core for control tasks.
