4.7 µH shielded power inductor for automotive and industrial DC-DC stages
The Murata LQH43PH4R7M26L is a 4.7 µH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH43 series, rated for 1.6 A continuous current with a 90 mOhm max DCR. The ferrite core and full shield contain the magnetic field, reducing EMI coupling into adjacent traces on a densely populated PCB.
Current handling and saturation margin
Rated current is 1.6 A, while the saturation current (Isat) is 1.4 A — the inductor begins to lose inductance above 1.4 A, so the peak load current in the circuit should stay below this threshold to maintain the full 4.7 µH value. The self-resonant frequency of 35 MHz is well above typical DC-DC switching frequencies (300 kHz to 2 MHz), so parasitic self-resonance does not affect the passband.
