Active AEC-Q200 power inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH43PH3R3M26L is an active-production shielded drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH43 series, qualified to AEC-Q200 for automotive-grade reliability. Its 3.3 µH inductance with ±20% tolerance is paired with a 2.1 A continuous current rating and a 1.8 A saturation current floor, giving a designer clear headroom for the ripple current in a buck converter input filter or a post-regulator output choke. The self-resonant frequency of 40 MHz means the inductive impedance holds up well into the switching noise band of a 1-2 MHz converter before parasitic capacitance starts to roll it off.
Package footprint and board-fit note
The ferrite core and shielded construction keep the magnetic field contained, which matters when the inductor sits adjacent to a sensitive analog front-end or a CAN transceiver on the same board. Available in Tape & Reel for production pick-and-place or Cut Tape for prototype builds. The AEC-Q200 rating means the part has passed the full suite of automotive stress tests — thermal shock, humidity bias, mechanical shock — and is PPAP-ready for a Tier 1 supplier submission.
