320 mA rated and saturation current — matched ceiling
The LQH43PH101M26L is an active-production Murata drum-core wirewound inductor from the LQH43 series, shielded with a ferrite core. Its 100 µH ±20% inductance is tested at 1 MHz. Both the rated current and saturation current are specified at 320 mA — the inductor's magnetic core saturates at the same DC bias level it's thermally rated for. The application must stay below this ceiling in steady-state and during transient current spikes, or the inductance collapses.
AEC-Q200 qualification and 85°C ambient ceiling
Maximum DC resistance is 1.8456 Ohm. At 320 mA the I²R copper loss reaches roughly 190 mW, which must be dissipated within the 85°C ambient limit without exceeding the core temperature rise.
Self-resonant frequency and package fit
Self-resonant frequency is 4 MHz. Below that point the inductor behaves inductively; above 4 MHz the winding capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off. This sets the useful frequency ceiling for filtering or DC-DC converter applications. Supplied on tape and reel or cut tape for prototype builds.
