6.8 µH shielded power inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH43PB6R8M26L is a 6.8 µH drum core wirewound inductor with a 760 mA current rating and a 1.2 A saturation current — the saturation headroom is about 1.6× the rated current, so it handles transient spikes without dropping inductance in a buck converter output filter. DC resistance is 117.6 mOhm max, which at 760 mA gives about 68 mW of I²R loss — negligible for most power rails, but worth checking if the inductor sits in a high-ambient spot on the board. Shielded construction with a ferrite core keeps the magnetic field contained — no coupling headaches when placed next to a sensitive analog trace or another inductor on the same rail.
Self-resonant frequency is 30 MHz — well above the switching frequency of most DC-DC converters (typically 500 kHz to 2 MHz), so the inductor behaves as a pure inductor in that band.
