The LQH43NN8R2K03L is a drum core, wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH43 series, offering 8.2 µH inductance with ±10% tolerance. Rated for 450 mA continuous current, it presents a maximum DC resistance of 560mOhm — the DCR loss at full rated current is just over 100 mW, well within the 105 °C operating ceiling. Unshielded construction means the magnetic field extends beyond the component body — keep sensitive traces or other magnetics at least one package width away to avoid coupling. The ferrite core and 27 MHz self-resonant frequency suit it for DC-DC converter output filtering and general-purpose power rail smoothing up to a few MHz.
Surface-mount fit and temp range
The Q factor of 30 at 1 MHz is adequate for filtering applications where moderate selectivity is acceptable; for higher-Q requirements a different core geometry would be needed.
