5.6 µH wirewound for DC-DC and signal filtering
The Murata LQH43NN5R6K03L is a drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH43 series, rated 5.6 µH ±10% at 1 MHz with a 500 mA current rating. The self-resonant frequency of 33 MHz defines the upper bound for effective filtering — above this the inductor behaves capacitively. The Q factor of 30 at 1 MHz gives a reasonable AC loss figure for a ferrite-core part at that frequency, useful for resonant circuits or band-pass filtering in the low-MHz range.
1812 footprint and unshielded construction
The unshielded construction means magnetic flux couples to nearby traces and components — maintain clearance from sensitive signal paths or use a shielded alternative if crosstalk is a concern in dense layouts. The ferrite core material provides stable inductance over temperature and current, though the unshielded design saturates gradually rather than sharply. Tape-and-reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place for volume assembly.
