10 µH wirewound inductor for power and signal filtering
The Murata LQH43NN100K03L is a drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH43 series, offering 10 µH inductance with ±10% tolerance in a standard 1812 SMD footprint. Rated for 400 mA continuous current and 560 mOhm maximum DC resistance, this unshielded inductor suits low-to-moderate current filtering and decoupling roles on power rails or signal lines.
Q factor and self-resonant frequency
With a Q factor of 36 at 1 MHz and a self-resonant frequency of 23 MHz, the LQH43NN100K03L performs well in narrowband RF decoupling and resonant circuits up to the low tens of MHz. Above 23 MHz the inductor behaves capacitively, so it is not suited for filtering or matching at VHF or higher frequencies.
The ferrite core and unshielded construction mean adjacent traces or components may pick up magnetic flux; keep sensitive analog or RF circuitry at least one part width away.
Operating temperature and reliability
The 400 mA current rating is the continuous limit at the upper temperature boundary; derating is not specified but should be applied for operation above 85°C ambient.
