Active production, automotive-grade inductor for power and filter circuits
The LQH43NH1R5J03L is a Murata drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH43 series, rated at 1.5 µH with ±5% tolerance and a continuous current rating of 1 A. With a maximum DC resistance of 58.8 mOhm, the I²R loss at full rated current is under 60 mW — negligible for most power-stage thermal budgets, but worth checking if the inductor sits in a high-ambient environment near other heat sources. The 85 MHz self-resonant frequency keeps the inductive impedance dominant well above the switching frequencies of common buck converters (typically 300 kHz to 2 MHz).
1812 footprint and board-fit constraints
The unshielded construction means stray flux can couple into adjacent traces or components — keep sensitive analog or RF routing at least one package width away. The ferrite core material is standard for this inductance range; no special handling beyond standard SMD reflow profiles.
