33 µH wirewound for power rail filtering
The LQH43MN330J03L is a 33 µH drum-core wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH43 series, built for surface-mount power rail filtering and DC-DC converter output smoothing. Rated at 270 mA with a maximum DC resistance of 1.2 Ohm, this part handles moderate current loads where the DCR drop and self-heating stay within the 85 °C operating ceiling.
Unshielded construction and self-resonant frequency
The unshielded ferrite core means magnetic flux radiates outside the component — keep sensitive traces or other magnetics a few millimeters away on the PCB to avoid coupling. Self-resonant frequency is 12 MHz, so the inductor behaves inductively well below that point; above 12 MHz the impedance turns capacitive, which limits use in high-frequency switching converters. Q factor of 35 at 1 MHz gives a reasonable AC loss figure for tuned circuits or filter applications at that frequency.
1812 SMD footprint and field-swap reality
Tape-and-reel packaging suits pick-and-place assembly; cut-tape options are available for prototype or small-batch builds.
