100 µH, 160 mA — filter or DC-DC output choke
The LQH43MN101K03L is a drum core, wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH43 series, rated at 100 µH ±10% with a continuous current of 160 mA. The 2.5 Ohm max DCR sets the DC loss budget — at full rated current the self-heating is roughly 64 mW, which is within the 85°C ambient ceiling for most board-level power filters. The self-resonant frequency of 6.8 MHz means the inductor's impedance peaks near that point and drops above it — useful for filtering switching noise from a buck converter running at a few hundred kHz, but not for RF tank circuits above 10 MHz.
1812 footprint, unshielded — layout and coupling
Being unshielded, the magnetic field extends beyond the core — adjacent traces carrying sensitive analog signals should be kept at least one part-width away to avoid coupling. The ferrite core material gives a Q factor of 40 at 796 kHz, indicating moderate energy efficiency in the low-MHz range. The inductance is tested at 1 MHz, which is the standard reference frequency for this value range.
Active production, industrial temperature range
Surface-mount packaging options include Tape & Reel and Cut Tape, compatible with standard pick-and-place assembly.
