2.2 µH shielded power inductor with AEC-Q200 grade
The Murata LQH3NPZ2R2MMEL is a drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH3 series, offering 2.2 µH inductance with ±20% tolerance in a shielded 1212 (3030 Metric) surface-mount package. Rated for 1.22 A continuous current with a maximum DC resistance of 78 mOhm, and a saturation current of 1.8 A — the DCR limits the I²R heating at full load, while the saturation rating tells you where the inductance starts to roll off under transient current spikes.
AEC-Q200 qualification and deployment envelope
The ferrite core and shielded construction contain the magnetic flux, reducing radiated EMI into nearby traces or sensitive analog circuits on the same board — a common concern in power-supply rails feeding ADCs or sensor front-ends. Self-resonant frequency is 60 MHz, well above the switching frequency of most DC-DC converters in automotive infotainment or body-control modules, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in the 100 kHz to 2 MHz range where most converters operate.
