22 µH shielded inductor for automotive power stages
The Murata LQH3NPZ220MMEL is a 22 µH shielded wirewound inductor qualified to AEC-Q200, the automotive passive-component stress test standard. It carries a rated current of 540 mA and a saturation current of 570 mA, with a maximum DC resistance of 480 mOhm — the DCR figure sets the I²R conduction loss in the power path and governs the temperature rise at full load. The ferrite core and shielded construction contain the magnetic flux within the 3.00 mm × 3.00 mm × 1.50 mm 1212 (3030 Metric) package, reducing radiated EMI into adjacent traces or sensitive analog circuits on the same board layer.
AEC-Q200 qualification and temperature envelope
The self-resonant frequency of 10 MHz means the inductor behaves as an inductor well above the switching fundamental of most automotive DC-DC converters (typically 400 kHz to 2.2 MHz), so the effective inductance at the switching frequency stays close to the 22 µH nominal value.
Sourcing and procurement
The LQH3NPZ220MMEL is sourced through authorized and independent distribution channels. Pricing and lead time are confirmed at RFQ against the BOM quantity.
