Drum-core inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH3NPNR68NJRL is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor from the LQH3 series, built for surface-mount power-supply filtering in compact 1212 (3030 Metric) footprint. Rated for 1.28 A continuous with a DCR of 38.4 mOhm max, this part handles the ripple current in a buck converter's output filter without excessive copper loss — the low DCR keeps the I²R heating within the 105°C operating ceiling.
Saturation margin and SRF
Saturation current (Isat) is 2.7 A, more than double the rated current — the core stays linear across the full load range, so inductance holds steady even under transient peaks. Self-resonant frequency is 130 MHz, well above the switching frequencies of typical 1–2 MHz DC-DC converters; the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in the passband, not a parasitic resonator.
