3.3 µH shielded wirewound for DC-DC and power-line filtering
The Murata LQH3NPN3R3MGRL is a 3.3 µH ±20% shielded wirewound inductor built on a ferrite drum core. Rated for 940 mA continuous DC with a saturation current of 1.05 A, it handles the ripple current in a buck converter output stage without saturating under transient loads. Maximum DC resistance is 144 mOhm, which at rated current gives about 127 mW of I²R loss — a factor for thermal budget in a dense 1212 footprint. The self-resonant frequency of 30 MHz means it behaves as an inductor well into the HF switching range, suitable for converters switching at 1–2 MHz.
Package and rework considerations
The shielded ferrite construction reduces radiated EMI, which helps when routing near sensitive analog or RF traces. The part is supplied in tape-and-reel for automated pick-and-place.
