Parametric fit for the BOM line
The LQH3NPN330MGRL is a 33 µH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH3 series from Murata, built on a ferrite core with a drum-core construction. The 360 mA continuous current rating and 320 mA saturation current (Isat) define the usable load range — the inductor saturates before the thermal limit, so the DC bias must stay below 320 mA to maintain inductance. DC resistance is 1.032 Ohm max, which sets the copper loss at 360 mA to roughly 130 mW — within the thermal budget of the 1212 package at 105 °C ambient. The self-resonant frequency of 8 MHz means the inductor behaves as an inductor well below that point; above 8 MHz parasitic capacitance dominates and the impedance rolls off.
Board footprint and integration
The shielded construction contains the magnetic field within the core, so adjacent traces on a dense board see less coupling than an unshielded drum core would produce — relevant when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog or RF section. Inductance is tested at 1 MHz per the datasheet condition. The ±20% tolerance is typical for power-grade ferrite inductors; if the application requires tighter inductance at a specific bias current, the saturation characteristic should be verified against the actual DC current in the circuit.
