1 µH shielded power inductor for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH3NPN1R0MGRL is a 1 µH shielded wirewound inductor from the LQH3 series, built on a ferrite core in a 1212 (3030 Metric) surface-mount package. It is rated for 1.24 A continuous current with a DCR of 74.4 mOhm max, making it a fit for switching regulator output filters and power rail smoothing in space-constrained designs.
Current handling and saturation margin
Rated at 1.24 A continuous with a saturation current (Isat) of 1.7 A, the inductor offers a 37 % headroom above the rated current before inductance rolls off — the saturation point is the hard ceiling; the current rating is the thermal limit in free air. Self-resonant frequency of 100 MHz means the inductor behaves as an inductor well into the HF band, so it filters switching noise from a 1–2 MHz buck converter without parasitic capacitance dominating.
Shielded construction and temperature range
Shielded ferrite core contains the magnetic field — critical when the inductor sits next to a sensitive analog rail or RF section on the same board, as stray flux can couple into adjacent traces.
